Meaning of Service

The WREM Literacy Group, Inc. is a community service organization that empowers the underserved citizen to live self-sufficiently as a result of preparation for earning a sustainable income.  Its services are delivered through education and the provision of decent and affordable housing. The recipient of these services includes the single mother, children, young adults, veterans, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities.  Based in Prairie View, TX, WREM offers its services in the Dallas / Ft. Worth and Houston Metropolitan Statistical Areas.  However, housing, its flagship product, is currently only being offered in select cities of the following eight counties:  


                   1.  Cherokee - (Cuney)

                   2.  Ellis - (Ennis, Red Oak, Waxahachie)

                   3.  Grimes - (Navasota)

                   4.  Hood - (Grandview)

                   5.  Johnson - (Cleburne)

                   6.  Kaufman - (Crandall, Forney, Kaufman, & Terrell)

                   7. Liberty - (Ames)

                   8. Waller -( all cities comprising the county)
